Register to access the COP27 Resilience Hub, and join us for this event online.

Drawing on examples of arts-led and creative practice, this session showcases the depth, range and potential of creative climate practices to reimagine and shape resilience on the ground. Through activism, artistry, or creativity, these responses highlight the potential of arts and creative industries to bring diverse perspectives together to innovate, change narratives, and mobilise climate action.

This session features live readings from Letters to the Earth, a participatory creative campaign calling on people around the world to write and share a Letter in response to the planetary emergency. Since 2019 thousands have taken part in expressing their hopes and fears, giving voice to nature and painting their visions of a fairer, greener and thriving world.

The event also features artists and practitioners contributions, as well as representatives of the bedouin tribes who are involved in Egypt’s first long distance hiking trail, The Sinai Trail. The Sinai Trail is a community project whose mission is to create a sustainable tourism economy, in which legitimate jobs and opportunities paying fair wages are available to Bedouin communities in remote, marginalised areas; as well as aiming to save the Sinai’s endangered Bedouin heritage.

Register for the Resilience Hub

International Indigenous Women’s Forum (FIMI)
