Julie’s Bicycle works with Arts Council England to deliver an environmental programme, built on a shared vision of the transformative role of the arts and cultural policy to tackle the climate crisis.
The collaboration began in 2012 with a pioneering policy intervention, as a direct response to the cultural sector expressing a desire to take action on the climate crisis. ACE became the first cultural body in the world to make environmental reporting and policy part of its funding agreements for National Portfolio Organisations (NPOs).
