Taking the Temperature #2

JB’s Charise Johnson presents the second episode of Taking the Temperature, explaining some key issues and headlines to pay attention to at the United Nations climate talks, COP26, currently taking place in Glasgow.

Taking place during a global pandemic while systemic injustices are being laid bare all across the world, climate justice is huge on the agenda for COP26. Charise recaps the top line findings from the latest Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) report, the importance of COP and the need for a just transition. She also shares the key aspects of the UK’s Net Zero strategy and what the culture sector is doing to respond.
