Bridget biography:

Bridget McKenzie is a researcher and creative curator in culture, learning and environment. She has been director of Flow Associates since 2006, after 14 years in roles such as Education Officer for Tate and Head of Learning at the British Library. She is an advisor for Culture Unstained and co-founder of Culture Declares Emergency. She presents and publishes internationally on possibilities of Regenerative Culture. She is founding director of Climate Museum UK, a new CIC which stirs and collects the emerging response to the Earth crisis.

Jess biography:

Jess is a co-founder of Nadas Istanbul, a creative house in Istanbul, Turkey, facilitating projects that support the diversity of urban life and relationships between people and their environments. Jess is passionate about ecology and committed to finding creative ways to address climate change and inspire more mindful living. She holds an MA in International Performance Research from the University of Warwick and University of Amsterdam, and a BA in contemporary dance from the London Contemporary Dance School. She has also worked as a curator and artist, including projects Museum of Garbage by FLYING roots and Şehir Ezmesi / City Paste. Jess has been living and working in Istanbul since January 2015 and participated in Julie’s Bicycle’s Creative Climate Leadership programme in March 2017

Laura biography:

Laura Napier is an interdisciplinary artist based in Houston, Texas. Napier produces projects locally, nationally and internationally exploring behavior, sociology, and place through participatory and collaborative works. Her current long-term project, Sea of Oil, focuses on places where oil, gas, and petrochemical industries are embedded, tracing visual and narrative social cultures. Gathering stories and objects through personal exchanges, Sea of Oil looks at how oil and gas cultures intersect with everyday life, as we are faced with massive, global climate change. She lectures in photography, video and performance at Sam Houston State University.
