Jocelyn is also the co-founder of the PB&J Collective, a Singapore-based multidisciplinary collective that examines the pluralities within Singaporean-Chinese traditional music practices, and offers contemporary interpretations of tradition. She has been invited to share at international symposiums, including the Princess Galyani Vadhana Institute of Music’s Southeast Asian Music Sessions (SEAMS), discussing the interplay between traditional music, modernity, and intercultural contexts.
Her interests in cultural policy and its intersections with sustainability drives her work at Julie’s Bicycle. She draws parallels between preserving cultural traditions and climate action, a perspective that informs her operational approach in supporting Julie’s Bicycle’s mission in the creative climate movement.
Jocelyn has a BA(Hons) in Music (Composition) from LASALLE College of the Arts, Singapore and an MA in Music (Audiovisual Cultures) from Goldsmiths, University of London.
