Rosie is a recent University of Bristol graduate with a long-standing commitment to climate action. At 16 she was interviewed by the BBC World Service on the role of youth in climate strikes, sparking a sustained engagement with climate justice and community-led environmental work. During her year abroad she worked with NGOs in the Galápagos and Argentina on conservation and environmental policy, leading classes on biodiversity and taking part in the weekly Spanish-language radio programme Galápagos Mi Responsabilidad. Her research in Argentina explored the role of artivism in political movements, while in the Galápagos she examined the influence of national identity on conservation efforts. Back in the UK, her dissertation investigated how emerging technologies such as VR and video games can foster new relations between humans and the natural world to inspire climate action.
