Sheena Balkwill

Sheena joined Julie’s Bicycle as Communications Manager in July 2022. She has over 15 years experience providing communications and marketing for not-for-profit cultural organisations and holds a BA in History of Art, and diplomas in marketing communications and digital marketing. Previously specialising in visual arts, she has delivered communications for several groundbreaking contemporary arts spaces across London, including Gasworks & Triangle Network and Iniva (Institute of International Visual Arts), engaging a wide range of audiences both physically and online.

Sheena has a longstanding interest in green issues and is passionate about supporting arts organisations to be more sustainable, and to inspire and empower their communities to take action to tackle the climate crisis.
