Creative Climate E-learning powered by Julie’s Bicycle: Terms and Conditions

By signing up for the Creative Climate E-Learning: Climate literacy training course, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms outline the appropriate use of the platform, user responsibilities, and Julie’s Bicycle’s commitments.

1. Eligibility and Intended Audience

The training course is exclusively designed for National Portfolio Organisations (NPOs). The content is not intended for commercial use, and access is granted on a non-transferable basis.  

2. Copyright and Licensing

All course content is protected under the Creative Commons Attribution-NoDerivs 4.0 International (CC BY-ND 4.0) license. You may:

  • Share the material in its original form with appropriate credit.
  • Not remix, adapt, or modify the content.
  • Not use the content for commercial purposes.

Some materials include restricted content contributed by third parties. Use and distribution must comply with the Contributor’s License Agreement where applicable.

3. Acceptable Use and Fair Access

This e-learning is made available free of charge. To prevent misuse:

  • Account sharing is strictly prohibited. Each participant must register individually.
  • Access may be revoked if we detect inappropriate use, such as distributing content without permission or failing to comply with the licensing terms.
  • Users should access the course through recommended browsers (Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge) and ensure they are up to date for the best experience.

4. Helpdesk and Support Scope

The helpdesk is available for technical support only. This includes:

  • Login and access issues.
  • Loading or compatibility problems.

The helpdesk does not provide:

  • Assistance with course content, assessments, or module completion.
  • Customisation or modification of learning materials.
  • Detailed troubleshooting of individual user devices.

Helpdesk response times:

  • Expect a response time of 5 working days.
  • Only enquiries related to NPOs will be answered.
  • For access-related enquiries, please follow the guidance in the FAQs before reaching out.

5. Course Access and Account Inactivity

  • There is no time limit for course completion, but accounts inactive for three months or more may be retired.
  • An active account means logging in and engaging with course material.
  • If your account is retired, you can request a new account via the signup form.

6. Availability and Service Interruptions

While we strive to maintain uninterrupted access, Julie’s Bicycle reserves the right to:

  • Temporarily suspend access for maintenance or updates.
  • Retire the platform or specific courses with reasonable notice.

We do not guarantee continuous availability and are not liable for any data loss due to service changes.

7. Amendments to Terms

Julie’s Bicycle may update these terms at any time. Users will be notified of any significant changes affecting their access or usage rights.
