Cultura Circular

La Bienal de Música Córdoba, Argentina

Cultura Circular aims to contribute to creating a more sustainable cultural sector in Latin America and the Caribbean through the development and capacity building of a selected festival circuit. The British Council programme is also an excellent opportunity to learn about the activities of different cultural festivals in the region and to foster the exchange of experiences with the UK.

The British Council partnered with JB to develop training activities and specialised mentoring to three cohorts so far.

FICUNAM, Mexico. Cinema Festival

JB curated the programme consisting of the following main activities:

  • A series of training sessions to explore sustainability and ecology topics, learn about case studies, and hold spaces for reflection and debate.
  • Networking sessions to share experiences with other cultural organisations and agents.
  • Individual mentoring sessions with participants.
  • Additional activities to disseminate learnings and broaden up the network.
