Fit for The Future Guide

This guide from 2015 will help you to integrate environmental sustainability in capital projects from conception through to completion. It focuses mainly on larger capital projects and redevelopment of existing buildings and infrastructure, but is also relevant to smaller capital projects and new builds. Case studies cover a range of capital projects in terms of scale and type of investment, art form and location, and environmental solutions. It also provides an overview of environmental technologies and of key sources of environmental funding and finance of relevance for capital projects.

It has been developed by Julie’s Bicycle with the support of Arts Council England, whose capital grants programme is a key strategic programme linked to its goal of “arts, museums and libraries which are resilient and environmentally sustainable”.
