Event organisers: sustainability survey 2020

This year is the 5th annual event sustainability survey has been refocused, to understand the impact of COVID-19 on event organisers’ sustainability ambitions and plans for reducing their carbon impacts and inform a green recovery for the event sector.

Festival and outdoor event organisers are invited to take five minutes to fill out the 2020 industry green survey. 

Vision 2025’s Communications Manager, Bethan Riach states

“We would usually ask organisers to share what they had done and learned this season, but without any live events we are instead looking forward. What is now important, is that the COVID 19 recovery for events is a sustainable one. We want to understand how this year has affected event organisers’ ambitions and plans for sustainability for the future.

“There are a lot of pressures on the industry, so the Vision: 2025 steering group wants to be sensitive and shape the resources and support we offer, to give the most realistic routes to reducing carbon impact.”

The results will help the Vision: 2025 steering group – of which Julie’s Bicycle is a member – shape resources and support for event organisers as we move into a new season.
