For this year’s Creative Green Awards, we’re pleased to open up public nominations for two new awards, open for national and international applications, and free to enter.

Best Creative Programming Award

This award recognises the Best Creative Programming that has inspired people to think about climate and environmental issues in a new and creative way.

Examples of creative programming may include (but are not limited to): exhibitions, direct action interventions, film or tv programmes, plays or musicals, tours, festivals, a single event, series of talks, short film, an art course.

Check out our case study from 2018 winner, Fashioned From Nature at the V&A, and 2019 winner Ice Watch from Studio Olafur Eliasson for inspiration.

Best Campaign Award

This award recognises the Best Campaign that successfully inspired and galvanised people to take creative climate action.

Examples of campaigns may include (but are not limited to): a social media or communications campaign, protest, a petition.

Check out some examples Plastic Free Lyric from 2018 winner Lyric Hammersmith, and Shambala’s Meat & Fish Free campaign for inspiration.

Winners will receive a Creative Green Award and certificate, along with the Creative Green Award logo that can be used on marketing materials; and the value of a full day’s personalised programme of support, negotiated according to needs, and delivered by JB’s expert team of consultants.

Awards will be presented during a virtual ceremony on November 13th. Details and speakers to be announced.

Deadline for applications is Friday 30th October at 12pm, BST.
