Overheated with Billie Eilish
Overheated, a climate event hosted by Billie Eilish returned for its second year. The day brought together climate activists, musicians, and designers at Flipper’s Roller Boogie Palace in London to discuss the climate crisis and the work that is making a meaningful difference. Our Climate Justice Lead Farah Ahmed joined the panel on how to become more involved in climate activism without the constraints of perfection. She joined Dominique Palmer, Lauren MacDonald and Issey Gladston for a really interesting conversation.
“To be an activist is simply to act. But when we go beyond that it’s about how are we acting in solidarity with one another, how are we acting in a way that makes sure we’re advocating for just & equitable solutions that don’t leave anyone behind.”
– Dominique Palmer
The event also included sessions discussing the impact of our food systems, eco-anxiety, methods of sustainable fashion, and actions we can all take to mitigate climate change.
