This prestigious award celebrates leaders making significant contributions across the music and events industry, and highlights Julie’s Bicycle’s commitment to advancing sustainability and climate action.

Alison founded Julie’s Bicycle over 17 years ago, and began by imagining what a music industry that was in tune with people, planet and nature would be like. JB’s dedicated music team works in collaboration with artists, labels, festivals, venues and the entire music ecosystem to take action on climate, from strategic work to practical toolkits.

“A big thank you to all of the organisations and companies who are really beginning to lean into this work. I mean that very sincerely. It’s such a privilege to work with so many organisations, companies, who are doing really granular work. It’s complicated, but wonderful work, and it’s the work of a lifetime.” – Alison Tickell

The award recognises our approach, which fosters tangible impacts through collaborations that support sustainable practices, from decarbonisation and green energy solutions to influencing global climate policies.
