New Opportunities for Individuals
As part of the Arts Council England’s Environmental Programme, two new opportunities have just been launched for individuals working in the creative sector. The programmes are focused on supporting individuals with their creative practice – building resilience, skillsets and frameworks , supporting them to take creative climate action. The programmes will also build a network in which freelancers can work together, exchange ideas, and become part of a wider collaborative and proactive community.
Creative Climate Accelerator
A six part training programme for emerging climate leaders from diverse backgrounds, supporting them to transform knowledge into action, and implement a legacy project.
Creating Now for the Future
A paid opportunity to contribute to the development of new resources to support freelancers, creatives, artists, freelancer producers and community practitioners to make their practice more sustainable.
A New Sustainable Materials and Waste Management Toolkit for Festivals
Vision: 2025 and Julie’s Bicycle have launched a free to access Sustainable Materials and Waste Management Toolkit for Festivals.
Green Events Code of Practice Pilot Launched
A new pilot project to test out this free resource that aims to upskill event organisers and local authority teams, enabling them to measure and achieve their environmental targets.
